Friday Early Release: 2:40 p.m.
Why does attendance matter: Attendance habits begin in preschool, helping students learn early on that going to school on time, every day is important. Consistent attendance will help students do well in high school, college, and at work.
Students who miss school are not able to contribute to their classes, miss valuable instruction, and may drop out of school later and limit their future education and career opportunities.
Ways to Excuse an Absence: (For Early Release Requests, please see below)
Enter an Absence through Family Access (Skyward)
To submit an absence request via Skyward Family Access, please follow the linked instructions:
Call the Attendance line at 425-431-2996 and leave the following information.
- Indicate the student's name
- Center or Homeroom
- Indicate your name
- Date of Absence
- Reason of Absence
- If student is arriving late, they must sign in at the Attendance Office for the absence to be excused.
Need an Early Release? Parents are required to sign out their student in the office before leaving campus. Leaving campus without permission and while school is in session is considered an unexcused absence. Please DO NOT leave voice or email messages requesting and Early Release.
