On Monday April 6th, Governor Jay Inslee and State Superintendent Chris Reykdal announced that all K-12 schools will be closed through the end of the school year.

Due to the current situation, we have suspended both the tours and entry pool applications.  At this time, openings for the 2020-2021 school year will be filled via the existing entry pool.  We will resume tours when social gathering guidelines permit.

Please check back for future tour dates.

Parent Information Session and Tour

The first step toward enrolling your student in Madrona K8 is to attend a parent information session which includes a tour. You will receive important information about our school during the tour and have opportunities to ask questions. After the tour, you will be given a form to complete to enter your child in the lottery. A lottery system is used for enrollment as interest in the program exceeds available space. The entry pool guidelines are approved by the Edmonds School Board.

You only need to tour one time. Your lottery application will remain in the lottery pool until the child ages out, after 8th grade.

Please make arrangements for child care. The information session is intended for an adult audience as we will tour learning environments throughout the school and wish to respect teaching and minimize distractions to learning. The information session and tour last one hour. Daytime tours are limited to 25 families due to limited parking. When you arrive at the school, please enter through the main office.

Prospective kindergarten families must attend an information session by January 28th, 2020 to be eligible for kindergarten lottery and enrollment in the 2020-2021 class.
